12-Aminododecanoic acid is slightly soluble in water, ethanol, methanol, isopropanol, and soluble in a mixture of acetic acid, phosphoric acid, methanol and benzene. In general, 12-aminododecanoic acid is mainly used as a monomer in the synthesis of PA12.
