Neuropeptide originally isolated from both the pennatulid Renilla köllikeri and the sea anemone Anthopleura elegantissima. It is likely to be a neurotransmitter at neuromuscular junctions. Antho-RFamide increases spontaneous contractions of ectodermal tentacle muscles.
